Un délicieux ragoût de feuilles de ndolé et d'arachides, préparé avec des crevettes, du poisson ou de la viande, et généralement accompagné de plantain, miondo ou bobolo.
Ndolé is Cameroon's national dish. It is built on ndolé leaves — bitter, washed and boiled at length to soften them — simmered with a groundnut paste that gives the sauce its thickness and deep colour. Dried shrimp, smoked fish, beef, or all three go in with it. In Douala it is served with fried ripe plantains, miondo (cassava sticks) or plain rice. It is cooked for big occasions and for an ordinary weekday lunch alike, and every kitchen strikes its own balance between the peanut and the bitterness. The restaurants below offer it for delivery and pickup.
