Ndogbong is a residential quarter in north-eastern Douala, between Makepe and Logpom. Less commercial than its neighbours, it runs to the rhythm of the people who live there: local markets, small eating houses, family restaurants serving lunch to people working nearby. What you find is everyday Cameroonian cooking — ndolé, eru, rice and stew — at neighbourhood rather than city-centre prices. The main junctions, Bifaga among them, hold most of the food.
