Beignets, haricots et bouillie. Précisez les accompagnements et portions proposés par votre restaurant.
BHB — beignets, haricots, bouillie — is the Cameroonian breakfast. Puffed beignets fried to order, beans simmered long in palm oil and spices, and a hot maize or millet porridge. The three are eaten together, the beignet used to scoop the beans. It is street food first, sold from dawn at Douala's junctions, but several kitchens now serve it through the morning for delivery. Filling, inexpensive, and probably the most eaten breakfast in the country.
1 restaurant offers BHB in Douala: 1 for pickup. Prices and hours are on each listing.
